A wardrobe

lifetimes.

~40 PIECES / WEEK
Preloved began as a three-friend wardrobe overflow — pieces from our own closets we couldn’t quite throw out, but didn’t quite wear. A shared spreadsheet, a weekend pop-up.
Today we occupy a light-filled room where we sort, mend, press, and photograph about forty pieces each week. Our sellers range from style editors to grandmothers clearing out Italian gap-year finds.
We believe in slow: slow consignment, slow merchandising, slow photography. A coat that held someone through ten winters isn’t sold in a five-minute flash sale. It’s hung, studied, and photographed in daylight — then it finds its next keeper.
Four things we keep.
We photograph flaws, never hide them. Our rating scale has five levels; no piece wears a label it hasn’t earned.
60% of every final sale, paid within a week. It’s the highest in our market because clothes came from somewhere, and should go back.
No flash sales, no algorithmic pricing. Each piece gets a thoughtful price and at least one quiet week to find its buyer.
Recycled mailers, no plastic tags, carbon-offset local couriering. Unsold pieces are donated with the seller’s blessing.
